A touching story about twin brothers separated at birth and brought up by two different families. Divided by class, Mickey stays with his mother and is raised on the working class streets of Liverpool, while his borther Eddie is taken in by the wealthy Mrs Lyons and enjoys expensive schooling and a university education. This thought-provoking musical highlights the differences between the lives of two brothers, one given all the opportunities that wealth and education bestow and the other having all of life's doors closed on him. Beautiful and tragic, Willy Russell's Blood Brothers has long been a favourite in the West End.
