American singer Jake Shears and Self Esteem musician Rebecca Lucy Taylor star in Rebecca Frecknall's revival of Cabaret when it returns to the West End.
Based on the original Kander and Ebb Broadway musical, Cabaret is set in Weimar Berlin of 1931 as the Nazis are beginning to rise to power. In a time of pre-war decadence and hedonism, the notoriously louche master of ceremonies and sassy singer Sally Bowles perform nightly at the infamous Kit Kat Klub.
As well as show-stopping choreography and dazzling costumes, Cabaret also features some of the most iconic songs in musical theatre including Money Makes the World Go Round, Two Ladies, Don't Tell Mama, Maybe This Time and of course Cabaret.
