Tony and Olivier award nominated Gavin Lee stars alongside Broadway leading lady Kristen Beth Williams in Matthew White's critically acclaimed production of Top Hat. Based on the 1935 smash hit RKO Radio Pictures film, Top Hat is widely regarded as one of the greatest dance musicals of all time, bringing the glamour of Hollywood's golden age and the glorious, tap-dancing magic of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers to the West End.
Fabled Broadway star and American dancer Jerry Travers travels to London to perform in a new show for bumbling producer Horace Hardwick. When practicing a tap dance routine in his hotel room late one night he awakens the sleeping Dale Tremont staying in the room below. The swish model storms upstairs to complain and the pair are instantly attracted to one other. Jerry proceeds to follow Dale in an attempt to win her affections, but there are complications when she mistakes Jerry for Horace, who is married to her friend Madge.
